"A meta data file (.meta) exists but its folder 'Packages/com.unity.terrain-tools/..." warning is logged when the Terrain Tools package is installed
Reproduction steps:
1. Create a new project
2. Install the Terrain Tools package and observe the Console
Expected result: No warnings are thrown
Actual result: Terrain Tools package warning is thrown
Reproducible with: 4.0.5 (2022.2.0a15), 5.1.0-pre.1 (2023.2.0a10), 5.1.0 (2023.1.0f1, 2023.2.0a20)
Not reproducible with: 4.0.5 (2021.3.27f1, 2022.2.0a14), 5.0.3 (2022.3.2f1)
Reproduced on: macOS Ventura 13.3.1 (Intel)
Notes:
- Reproducible on Core templates
- It’s impossible to find the fixed version because a similar warning is being thrown unrelated to the Terrain Tools package when the project is opened and also when doing the reproduction steps
- Full warning: “A meta data file (.meta) exists but its folder 'Packages/com.unity.terrain-tools/Editor/Icons/TerrainOverlays/ToolModeIcons' can't be found, and has been created. Empty directories cannot be stored in version control, so it's assumed that the meta data file is for an empty directory in version control. When moving or deleting folders outside of Unity, please ensure that the corresponding .meta file is moved or deleted along with it.”
